Wrapped In Red

Hey everyone--
I hope you all had a merry little Christmas! I'm so blessed to spend beautiful Christmases with my family every year. With Christmas being my absolute favorite holiday, I'm always sad to see it go. My parents have made Christmas so special for me, I'm truly thankful for the magic that arrives every December at my parents home. For me, there is nothing like being home for Christmas.

I'm still celebrating the holiday season with my family and friends & enjoying my presents! This is my second Charlotte Russe post. I'm still so excited to be blogging for them. I can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for me and The Daily Sugar!

Happy Saturday! Have a festive weekend!

Merry & Bright/ Collaboration With Chicnova

Merry Christmas Eve Everyone--

I was super excited to collaborate with Chinova over this Holiday season. This festive red dress is from Chicnova and I have named it my Christmas dress for this year! It's color is vibrant and bold, a perfect pop for any Holiday party. I added this gorgeous leopard coat to stay warm, because what's more glamorous than leopard print + red?

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas Eve!

Wishing You A Happy Holiday Season!

Merry Christmas Eve Eve everyone--

I'm so excited that Christmas Eve is tomorrow! I can't wait to spend time with my family and friends. I'm also looking forward to the hot cocoa and treats & exchanging gifts!

For my Deb Shops holiday look, I decided to style an all black ensemble. I wanted a different holiday color scheme than red and green or metallics. Don't get me wrong, I love the classics. There is nothing better than a pop of red for the Christmas season, but I wanted to put together a chic all black outfit. To recreate this look, all you need is an LBD, a black belted coat and a pair of flirty black heels. To accessorize, throw on polka dot tights, a statement necklace and a jeweled cuff.

Happy Holidays friends!

November's Treat: Mini Pumpkin Pies

In honor of Thanksgiving week, I decided to make these adorable mini pumpkin pies. I knew I had to try these the minute that I saw them on the Little Bit Funky blog. Follow these steps to make your own mini pies!
Ingredients:
1 15 oz can of pumpkin puree, 2 eggs, 1 12 oz can of evaporated milk, 2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice, 3/4 cup of sugar, 1/2 tsp of salt, 2 boxes of ready made pie crust, 1 cookie cutter (circle or heart shape), cooking spray, whipped cream

Instructions:
1. First, spray muffin tin with cooking spray.
2. Unroll ready made crust and cut out shapes with cookie cutter.
3. Place cut out crust into each muffin cup. You will need to work with a bit to create the shape you want.
4. Combine the sugar, pumpkin pie spice, eggs, pumpkin puree and salt together. Once everything is combined, stir in the evaporated milk.
5. When the mixture is combined, pour into each muffin cup. The mixture can reach almost to the top of the crust.
6.  Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes, depending on your oven. ( Mine were done a little after 30 minutes) You can check to see if they're done by putting a knife in the center, if it comes out clean they are done.
7. Let the pies cool and then garnish with whipped cream. The pies are now ready to enjoy and share with friends!
