Dot Your Eyes

Hey everyone--

I am a bow person.  I always have been and I'm pretty sure that I always will be. I'm also a sucker for the element of surprise. These are two of the many reasons why I have fallen in love with this striped maxi from Deb Shops. If you are looking for a classic maxi with a twist, this is the dress for you. Pair it with a black bandeau and some amazing taupe wedges. This look is so fun to accessorize. You can add a few bold accessories to really pull it all together.  I chose a color block tote, a chunky bracelet, and polka dot sunglasses. These polka dot sunnies are a gorgeous shade of pink and they are so flirty! You cannot go wrong putting these sunglasses in your life, they are ONLY $4 right now!!

Happy Monday!

Student Book Exchange (SBX) at Ohio State Collaboration + Sweepstakes

Hey everyone--
I'm so excited to share a sweepstakes opportunity with you! The Student Book Exchange at Ohio State (SBX) is proud to present The Sweepstakes for a Year of Free Textbooks. SBX is offering a year of FREE TEXTBOOKS to one lucky sweepstakes winner! Wouldn't that be nice? ..
If you're an Ohio State student, chances are you've already familiar with SBX. The Student Book Exchange at Ohio State (more commonly known as SBX) is a spirit-filled bookstore that sells new and used textbooks and offers textbook rentals. They also carry Ohio State apparel as well as brand names such as "Underarmor", "Be Ohio Proud"" and "Columbus Urban Threads". SBX has been at it's current location on High St. since 1953 and some of their staff has been employed for over 30 years! They do a fantastic job at serving OSU students.

As a student, SBX has been my go to place for textbooks and quick campus pick-me-ups. It was so wonderful to collaborate with a sweepstakes that is so local and close to home for me. I love that I got to represent The Ohio State University and SBX. When I first arrived as a freshman, I was trying to start up a blog from scratch. I would have never believed that the bookstore I shopped at would one day partner with me. Dreams really are created on this campus! O-H !
I had so much fun collaborating with the lovely Amanda, from Girl About Columbus. Amanda's blog is seriously amazing, definitely a must read. For all things Columbus, fly by her blog!

& If you love the shirts as much as we did, you can pick them up for yourself in store and online! Amanda's "Home" shirt is from Be Ohio Proud and my "Columbus shirt" is from Columbus Urban Threads.

Now, all of you buckeyes go enter the sweepstakes for a year of free textbooks and be sure to read the terms and conditions

I'd like to thank SBX Ohio State for hosting the sweepstakes and providing the threads + fellow blogger Amanda Hamman of Girl About Columbus + our photographer Lauren Kinsey!

Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker Collaboration

Hey everyone--

I'm so very excited to be a part of the Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker collaboration launch! Today, Warby Parker is debuting their Karlie Kloss collaboration sunglasses. Warby Parker partnered up with Supermodel Karlie Kloss to design three fresh, feminine and universally flattering frames. The three new sunnies are inspired by Karlie's ambition and warmth. Just like Karlie, the frames are graceful, polished, and brimming with personality.

The collection showcases three feminine classics: Marple, Julia and Clara. If you are looking for a flattering frame with the perfect amount of flirt, please keep scrolling.

The Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker frames are available
June 10 online and in stores. Each silhouette comes in two timeless colors, heirloom gold and heirloom silver. $145 each

Perhaps the best aspect of the collaboration is that it will benefit the organization Edible Schoolyard NYC. Edible Schoolyard NYC is an organization that is dear to Karlie. The organization provides kitchens and gardens to low-income public schools and gives students the tools to develop healthy life habits.

For every pair sold, Warby Parker is going to distribute a pair to someone in need through their non-profit partners. So you really get the best of both worlds. Pick up a pair today to look fabulous all summer long and help a child in need. If you haven't heard of the Edible Schoolyard NYC, you should definitely check out their website and see all of the good that they do.
Which frames are my favorite you might ask? ..

Definitely the Clara, heirloom gold with copper frame lenses. (Shown above on Karlie)
The copper/rose gold tint is an absolute favorite of mine and the circular shape has that sixties je ne sais quoi attribute giving them an effortlessly cool it-girl vibe.

Thanks for reading! &
Happy Shopping!

White Illusions

Hey everyone--

I really think there is nothing I love more than a pretty white dress.  I tend to gravitate towards colorful prints and patterns and excess, but a simple white dress in the summer is a breath of fresh air. I'm absolutely crazy about this Deb Shops illusion maxi. It even comes with this braided belt.. If a simple white dress is isn't edgy enough for you, you can throw on a military jacket for a little flair. Put on some brown wedges and accessorize with plenty of jewelry. This Debs necklace is gorgeous on and it pairs well with mixed metallic earrings and a chunky gold bangle

Happy Monday everyone!
