It's sad how unappreciative I can become when I've a hard week. I'm thankful for the people in my life who encourage me to keep looking up.

Hey everyone--

I am so thankful for those little unexpected moments of happiness in life.

 Like when a bad day ends in joyful conversation, or when you realize a shrub that has been bare all winter is now a blooming rose bush! I have beautiful roses outside of my apartment that I've been enjoying on my way in and out. They just showed up one day, like most good things do. I cherish those surprises and tiny joys.
