Baydian Collaboration

So I'm finally getting up the second part to my collaboration with Baydian! I had so much fun shooting these photos with Tamara. She is so so talented and her scarves are gorgeous! Hey guys--

Sooooo it's been forever! I hate that I had to take such a long blogging break, but I am planning on getting everything back up and running! & I have a lot of new projects coming with the new year! I'm very very excited! 

So here is a Debs post getting up very late. This black floral kimono has by far been my most favorite kimono! I also love this black slip dress because it is worn well in any season. I accessorized with  black booties and a large camel satchel. This bag is super great too, because it can actually hold everything I need!

Little Red Dress

Hey everyone--

Wearing red always makes me feel like a million bucks. It's very glam and makes a fierce statemement. Everyone needs a little red dress in their closet. This Deb Shops dress is the perfect dress for feeling fabulous. It's also a great transition look for your summer to fall wardrobe. I chose to dress it down by wearing strappy flats and a black tote. 

To accessorize, I paired the look with a flashy cocktal ring, a chunky statement necklace, black cat-eye sunnies and a black hair wrap.. you know just the essentials. When wearing a hair wrap, I feel like a vintage maven. It really adds a touch of glamour to an everyday look.

Baydian Collaboration (Summer 2014)

Hey everyone--

Today, I am featuring Baydian Scarves! Baydian is a company that sells gorgeous, statement making scarves. My friend Tamara Holder is the designer and owner of Baydian, LLC. She is from the beautiful Caribbean island of Barbados and she moved to Columbus, Ohio in 2006. Her mission is to provide a selection of items that express her Carribean heritage and allow you to make your own peraonal fashion statement.

I had so much fun working with Tamara and showing off these vibrant scarves. She is so creative, I never knew there were so many ways to wear a scarf. Check out the Baydian website and blog to learn how to tie your scarf in a unique way. The bow head wrap is my absolute favorite! 

These two looks are really great for transitioning into fall. Tamara and me love bright colors and I've been trying to wear my brights before fall officially arrives.

Pineapple Under The Sea

Hey everyone--

I apologize in advance for the quality of these photos. I'm not sure why they turned out so fuzzy. It was a stormy day at the beach and my camera lens is not used to the salty, sandy air. 

However, I think a dress this cute makes up for the picture quality. The fruit print trend, has possibly been my favorite trend this summer and I find pineapple prints to be the most adorable of all! If you are pineapple obsessed, this dress is a must-have for you.  This +Deb Shops pineapple print dress is a steal. I paired it with a black bandeau, a black tote bag, brown weave flats and a black banded hat.

Hey everyone--

+Deb Shops came down south with me to the beautiful Florida beaches.  I stayed in an absolutely gorgeous resort and I was pampered for a week, thanks to my sister! The only bad thing about the trip was that it didn't last nearly long enough. I will write more about my trip later, because tonight I have a paper to write! 

I love love love the tropical print trend this year! I had been searching for a fun bird print for quite some time and this Deb Shops bikini has the absolute cutest parrot print. It's a bright and flirty and the perfect bikini for summer traveling! I paired it with a pretty, feminine crochet vest cover-up and high-waisted denim shorts. I accessorized with these fabulous royal blue sandals, gold bangles and colorful statement earrings!

Today is International Kissing Day! What better way to celebrate than with most glamorous pair of lips known to mankind?! This bold Deb Shops graphic tank features the iconic mouth of Marilyn Monroe and pays homage to one of her best movies. This tank has an adorable open back cut out that is perfect for showing off a cute bandeau or sports bra. Deb Shops has a unique Marilyn Monroe sports bra with amazing back to back vintage pictures of Marilyn on it. I am seriously o v e r the moon about this bra. I paired this Marilyn duo with white distressed skinny jeans and black strappy sandals. 

& I accessorized with a chic black bag, leopard sunnies and black geometric earrings. I have gotten asked so many times what designer my bag is! And it's not designer, it's from Deb Shops! It is my favorite bag at the moment.
