Hey guys--
I'm very excited to add a beauty section to The Daily Sugar! & this is my very first beauty post so let me know what you think! I think this look is so adorable. It looks like a normal bun from the front, but in the back there's a little surprise.. Ah I'm obsessed with this look. It's also super easy!
Christina xxoo
Materials: hair doughnut, a couple trusty bobby pins, a clip bow
Step 1: Bend your head forward and collect all of your hair into your hands.
Step 2: Slip the hair doughnut around your hair, creating the look of a pony tail.. The hair doughnut should now look like an 80's hair scrunchy.
Step 3: Wrap your hair around the doughnut, creating the shape that you want. Secure with bobby pins.
Step 4: Clip the bow right under your bun. You have officially created the back bow bun!
Amazing post! I want to try the back bow look!

This is seriously so cute! I have seen pictures of this hairstyle on tumblr and I have always wondered how to do something like this. I'm so happy that you are now doing beauty posts because you are so good at it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I just recently bought a hair bow clip that is similar to yours, but since I have short hair, I'm not sure how to wear it. Any tips?
